Look 765 RS Gravel bike made by French manufacturer, Look, is one of the pioneers of carbon racing bicycles. Also a pioneer in the use of clipless pedals. In 2019, the pioneer inevitably had to be dragged into the world trend: Making gravel bikes.
Contents
In terms of features, this bike is like most gravel bikes. Can be fitted with 700c tires up to 40mm, or 2.1-inch 650b tires. Can groupset 1x or 2x (single or double chainring). However, this bike by Look is focused on performance and racing.
Selected carbon material that is lightweight (but still strong for off-road). And the knick-knacks are only for racing needs. There’s a place to put the bottle cage in four positions, and that’s it. There are no features to install racks, bags, fenders, like many gravel bikes that can be versatile for touring and adventure

WHY WOULD YOU LIKE IT?
Designed To Be Small, On The Road And Through Wood1
- A two-tone tone with golden highlights that perfectly reflects the high-end nature of this assembly.
- It weighs barely more than 8.5 kg, estimated in size M without the pedals and without the mud you’ll be using.
- Gravel is tubeless: The Mavic All Road disc brake wheels are your go-to when it comes to taking things off-road.
THE FRAME IS MADE OF HIGH QUALITY CARBON
The frame is made of a mix of high and medium modulus carbon, much like the company’s best road bikes. The carefully shaped seatstay provides vertical flexion.
Although the bike is equipped with 37mm tires, it can safely load up to 40mm of rubber on 700c wheels, and 2.1-inch tires on 650b rings.
The Look 765 RS is sold with 700c wheels, but don’t worry because it can also use 650b wheels.
The dropped drive-side chainstay makes extra room for the 650b x 2.1-inch tires, and also provides enough clearance for the rider to run the 2x drivetrain if they wish.2
4 WATER BOTTLES
With the ability to mount up to four water bottles, the 765 Gravel RS frames give riders a confident setup that will go the distance.
DROPPED RIGHT CHAINSTAY DESIGNED
The Look 765 Gravel RS has a slightly lowered right chainstay compared to the left which is specially designed to maximize tire clearance for short 42.0cm chainstays.
The lowered chainstay, first popularized by Gerard Vroomen with the 3T Exploro, benefits by moving the chainstay down where the chainrings and tires are in closest proximity.
The bottom bracket drop of the 386 is 7.0 cm.3
